Oh, my sleep schedule has self destructed on an epic scale.

For the better part of a year i've been on sleep meds of one kind or another because my sleep schedule seems to be perma-set to 3rd shift. Im tired of the meds, I don't like the side effects so I am off of em. Needless to say, 4 hour sleep blocks and being up all night only so I can go to work in the morning isn't all its cracked up to be.

Faced with cleaning up my room, or cleaning out my itunes folder... i've chosen the daunting task of itunes reformation. My only question is, why do I have so many copies of Technotronic's "Move This"? I am disturbed. I don't even ever remember downloading this.

This was an amazing movie from a director that doesn't have a lot under his belt directing wise (he was Mike in "Swingers").

I have to say.. i was very very impressed with this movie. If you haven't seen it, make sure that you do.. on the big screen.

Update Update Update....

I think the past few years have been tumultuous. I feel that the knee jerk reactions and ups and downs are past me for now. I've never actually felt so centered in life, despite having not a whole lot going on.

I am in a enlightened state of self. I can see back over the last 1000 days or so and see how crazy/stupid/awesome/mean I've been and how I've tried multiple times to explain my actions and the motivation behind them.

I'm working on this new theory that if you are in a state of mind where you are making constant self-epiphanies, then you are in no state of mind to understand your self. Seems these days a lot of the people I know or have known aren't always making these self discoveries and when I was in a continual state of amazingly bad self-realizations I was insane in my brain and insane with everybody that was around me. Just a theory anyways.

This past week, I took 5 days off of work, did some traveling and it was ~~good~~ great.

This past weekend was pretty surreal. I spent Friday night out at the bar with Damon and Meagan. Good times were had. Jason had to work unfortunately :(. I drank a beer for him, cause its the right thing to do and I insisted that Meagan drink as well because she had a marathon to be in the next day and it was also the right thing to do. I never went to sleep after that though, I stayed up until Sunday morning at 3-ish AM when I was bored and angry. This hostility was due entirely to the fact that I discovered that Encore Action (i think it was action) was showing Alien, Aliens, Alien 3 and... completely failed by not showing Alien Resurrection. I also ran out of Arrested Development to watch and had already finished watching Point Break on hulu. Lacking closure to my xenomorph marathon, and feeling that WoW was starting to become more like a full time job and less like a hobby, I went to sleep.

Hey, its an update with more than a sentence, somebody call the Times.
